The top of the Empire State Building, Tyler’s favorite spot; somewhere he’s been a lot in the past week. It was his best distraction since his mother died; one of the only spots nobody could bother him and just let him think. If he was honest with himself, or if others thought they could be, he wasn’t really dealing with it well. However, people did what they naturally did and gave him a wide emotional berth; as well as Tyler not giving too much time for introspection. He and Susie could tell people were watching their words and being overly polite. The top of the Empire State Building felt like the only place he wouldn’t have to worry about all that.
